HFCL’s board approved Rs 400 crore expansion of fiber and cable manufacturing by July 2028 Back

HFCL announced that its board of directors approved a further expansion of its Optical Fiber and Optical Fiber Cable manufacturing capacities with a total capital outlay of Rs 400 crore, to be funded through a mix of internal accruals and debt. The expansion, expected to be completed by July 2028, will increase the company's total Optical Fiber manufacturing capacity to 38.50 Mn fkm per annum and its Optical Fiber Cable manufacturing capacity to 56.36 Mn fkm per annum.
