NHPC's Bhupender Gupta extends SJVN leadership role for six months, per Ministry of Power Back

<p>SJVN Limited announced that the Ministry of Power has extended the additional charge of the post of Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) to Shri Bhupender Gupta, CMD of NHPC Limited, with effect from August 01, 2026, for a period of six months or until a regular incumbent is appointed, whichever is earlier. Bhupender Gupta previously assumed the additional charge on May 01, 2025, and also holds the position of Chairman & Managing Director of NHPC Limited since September 04, 2025.</p>
