<p>Muthoot Finance Limited subscribed to 3,29,30,464 ordinary voting shares in the rights issue of its subsidiary, Asia Asset Finance PLC, for LKR 1,09,65,84,451 (approximately Rs 31,80,09,491 or INR 31.80 crore), completing the allotment on September 8, 2026, as announced by Muthoot Finance Limited on September 9, 2026. Following the acquisition, Muthoot Finance Limited now holds 72.92% of Asia Asset Finance PLC, a licensed finance company incorporated in Sri Lanka in 1968.</p>
