JSW Energy completes acquisition of Maruti Clean Coal & Power for Rs 1,410 crore Back

JSW Energy Limited announced the completion of its acquisition of 100% of the equity shares of Maruti Clean Coal & Power Limited (MCCPL), a company that owns and operates a 300 MW thermal power project in Chhattisgarh, for an enterprise value of Rs 1,410 crore. With this acquisition, MCCPL has become a wholly-owned subsidiary of JSW Energy, increasing the company’s total installed capacity to 14,835 MW.
