| <p>Torrent Pharmaceuticals Limited announced an amendment to a Share Subscription and Shareholders’ Agreement to increase its investment in Torrent Urja 27 Private Limited from Rs 79,193,400 to Rs 11,87,90,100, acquiring an additional stake to reach 26% in the captive hybrid (solar + wind) power project company incorporated in Gujarat on August 6, 2024. The increased investment will fund an expansion of the project capacity, and the transaction is being carried out at arm’s length, as Torrent Urja is an associate company and a step-down subsidiary of Torrent Pharmaceuticals’ holding company.</p> |
