| <p>Mankind Pharma announced it will acquire a 70% stake in Belgium-incorporated biotechnology company Armed Cell Therapeutics B.V. (ACTx) through its Netherlands subsidiary, Mankind Pharma (Netherlands) B.V., for a consideration of EUR 48 million. The acquisition, part of Mankind Pharma’s strategy to build a global innovation-led pharmaceutical business, will be funded through an additional investment of up to EUR 45 million in Mankind Pharma (Netherlands) B.V., bringing the total investment to EUR 50 million. ACTx is developing next-generation chimeric antigen receptor T-cell (CAR-T) therapies for cancer, with lead programs targeting non-Hodgkin lymphoma and small cell lung cancer.</p> |
