BASF India to close Dahej plants by 2026 amid competitive pressures Back
BASF India Limited announced that its board of directors approved the closure of sulfation & low temperature reactor plants related to its Care Chemicals business at the Dahej manufacturing site, expected by the end of calendar year 2026, due to changing competitive landscape and margin pressure. The Care Chemicals business at Dahej, part of the Nutrition & Care Segment, contributed revenues of Rs 542 crore, representing 4% of the company’s total revenues during the financial year 2025-26.
